Depuis ma résidence d’artiste en Antarctique en mars 2007, où j’ai fait un travail important de capture d’images vraiment très précieuses pour moi,  je souhaitais créer des compositions picturales tirées de ces photographies.  J’utilise des photos qui mettent en relief des caractéristiques du paysage et de l’environnement de l’Antarctique afin de les mettre en des relations avec des images de même type, prises dans notre hémisphère nord grâce à des photographes collaboratrices.  Je veux lier, relier, faire des liens entre l’hémisphère sud et l’hémisphère nord.

Since my artist residency in Antarctica in March 2007, where I captured images that are truly precious to me, I have wanted to create pictorial compositions based on these photographs. I use photos that highlight characteristics of the Antarctic landscape and environment in order to relate them to similar images taken in our northern hemisphere by collaborating photographers. I want to link, connect, and make connections between the southern hemisphere and the northern hemisphere.
